<p>PURPOSE:To easily and accurately control the starting of a screw by detecting the IR rays emitted from the screw heated by a heating cylinder to convert the same to temp. and starting the screw when measured temp. reaches specified starting temp. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the starting of the injection device of an injection molding machine, at first, a current is supplied to heaters 16, 18 to heat heating cylinders 10, 14 and a screw 12 is also heated through the heating cylinder 10. The IR rays emitted accompanied by the heating of the screw 12 are detected by the IR sensor 20 provided in opposed relation to an IR emitting hole 12b and the measured temp. corresponding to the IR rays is calculated from the detection signal from the sensor in the temp. calculating part of a controller 22. This measured temp. is compared with starting temp. in a comparing part and, when the measured temp. reaches starting temp., a command signal is outputted from the measured temp. and the screw 12 is rotationally driven by a rotary driving device and the molding material taken in the injection device from a material charging port 10b is melted and kneaded to be injected in a mold from a nozzle 14.</p> |
