PURPOSE:To perform a speed change at just the appropriate time in any speed change case, by structuring a control device in such a manner to switch the timing control based on the rotational speed ratio and the timing control through a timer to each other, according to the magnitude of the engine load reducing speed. CONSTITUTION:A control device is equipped with an engine load detecting means 1, an engine load varying speed detecting means 2, an input shaft rotation speed detecting means 3, an output shaft rotation speed detecting means 4, a speed change deciding means 5, a rotational speed ratio calculating means 6 for calculating the actual rotational speed ratio of the input shaft to the output shaft, a measuring means of elapsed time after the decision of speed change 7 and an engine load varying speed deciding means 8. If the engine load reducing speed is lower than the determined value, an on-off device of a solenoid is switched to the condition after the speed change by the first solenoid changing means 9 when the elapsed time after the decision of start of the speed change reaches to the set value, and if the engine load reducing speed is higher than the determined value, the on-off device of the solenoid is switched to the condition after the speed change by the second solenoid changing means 10 when the actual speed ratio varies and reaches to the set value. |
