<p>PURPOSE: To provide an analog signal recording device which properly re-records analog signals when an overloading condition is generated. CONSTITUTION: An overloading detection means 78, which detects an overloading condition of input analog signal, is provided to the device 60 which records analog signals on the tracks of a recording carrier 82. If an overloading condition is detected, a recording mode is terminated and the recording carrier is rewound to the starting position of the current recording. A variable attenuation means 66 is also provided to the device 60 and the attenuation coefficient of the means 66 is increased during the detection of an overloading condition.</p> |
