The shuttering is mounted on supports, each consisting of a square section tube (4) which has its lower end welded to a base plate (2). Ribs (33), which extend upwards from the base plate, have oblique upper end surfaces (41) and support a rotary clamping device (37). The clamping device supports a housing (17) which has a lower plate (26) with projecting lugs with turned up ends (29) which support the ceiling support beams (30). The square section tube has an inverted U-shaped member (6) inserted in its upper end and secured by a transverse pin. The ceiling slabs rest on a support (5) which, in turn, rests on the inverted U-shaped member. USE/ADVANTAGE - For false ceiling construction,without impairing the smoothness of the lower ceiling surface.
