PURPOSE:To prevent trouble caused by sulfur included in regenerated exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:To a regenerator 2 for regenerating a desulfurizing agent by bringing regenerated gas into contact with a fixed bed or a moving bed of a desulfurizing agent which gave gas to be treated desulfurization treatment under high temp. to regenerate the desulfurizating agent is connected a regenerated exhaust gas line 12 for discharging sulfur dioxide contg. regenerated exhaust gas generated on the regeneration and to the regenerated exhaust gas line 12 is connected an air supply line 13 for supplying air for burning sulfur in the regenerated exhaust gas.
