<p>PURPOSE:To provide a composting device for domestic garbage at a low cost which is capable of efficiently and aerobically fermenting and decomposing domestic garbage and has a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:The introduction port 31 of garbage is opened in the upside of a vertical cylindrical fermenter 3. A chamber 35 for a combined exhaust and drainage is comparted under a floorboard 34 made of a perforated board having permeability in the bottom part via the floorboard 34. A composting device is equipped with an opening/closing cover 2 for airtighly blocking the introduction port 31 of garbage, an air pump 8 for blowing air into the fermenter 3 toward the bottom part from the upside and an agitation handle 7 of an agitator constituted of an agitation shaft 6 and impellers 62, 64 interpolated in the inside of the fermenter 3. Garbage is successively introduced into the fermenter 3 by the agitation handle 7, temporarily agitated and mixed after introduction and always ventilated by the air pump 8. The air is passed through the built-up layer of garbage from the upside of the fermenter 3 and forcedly ventilated toward the inside of the chamber 35 in the bottom part of the floorboard. Both exhaust discharged into the chamber the ventilation and drainage of condensed dew water generated on the wall deodorization by saturated air in the exhaust are detoured to a necessary surface route from the inside of the chamber by a pipeline and discharged to the outside.</p> |
