PURPOSE: To reduce a collision by providing a means receiving a primary control signal and an override command signal for forming a primary command signal and an altering damper command signal of a function of the override command signal each time when an end-stop collision is likely to occur to minimize incidence of end-stop collisions. CONSTITUTION: A controller 46 gives a damper command to a damper assembly 22 to adjust attenuating characteristics of the assembly 22 to determine by data according to previously selected primary control command group. Damper command signals given to the assembly 22 to determined according to previously selected override control command group by the controller 46 to alter attenuating characteristics at times when only an insulating unit is brought into contact with end-stops A, B or overrides under the control of the damper command signal are altered to minimize collisions of the end-stops A, B.
