<p>PURPOSE:To set magnifications of moving operation so as to improve the operability at the time of drawing input to a computer, specially, input with a mouse, etc. CONSTITUTION:A system which detects the direction and quantity of the movement of the X-axial and Y-axial coordinate positions of the input assistance device 1 is provided with X-axial and Y-axial timing pulleys 24 and 26 so as to detect the direction of the X-axial rotation and Y-axial rotation of spheres 14 and 20, and the timing markers of the timing pulleys 24 and 26 are detected by an optical detection system. Three kind of density marks are arranged as the timing marks, the density level of each mark density level is detected, and the directions and quantities of the rotation of the spheres are detected from the movement transition of the timing mark pattern. Consequently, sensors and constituent components are decreased in number.</p> |
