PURPOSE:To provide a manufacturing method for an electric contact comprising a composite material of a highly reliable contact material inlaid clad to a spring material, in which peeling at an end surface on the inlay joint side and at a clad surface is eliminated. CONSTITUTION:A composite belt material comprising a contact material inlaid clad to a spring material is press-punched to be formed to manufacture composite electric contact of contact member having an arc-shape at a tip contact part. A rolling direction of the composite material is set to be a length direction of the electric contact in press-punching.
