<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition, comprising a specific saturated polyester resin and a specified copolymer resin, excellent in biodegradability, compatibility, melt moldability, mechanical strength, water resistance and dispersibility and useful for packaging containers, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin composition comprises (A) a saturated polyester resin consisting essentially of a hydroxyalkanoate unit and (B) a copolymer resin composed of 10-40mol% ethylene unit, 40-88mol% vinyl alcohol unit and 2-50mol% ester-containing vinyl unit. The blending ratio of the components (A) to (B) is preferably (95/5) to (50/50) components (A)/(B) expressed in terms of weight ratio.</p> |
