PURPOSE:To arrest the movement of an operation member by inertia in the releasing direction, enhance operating feeling, and form a compact buckle device at low cost. CONSTITUTION:When a large downward acceleration acts on a buckle device 10, an upward inertial force F1 acts on the center of gravity G of an inertial body 15, the inertial body 15 is rotated with a second support shaft 17 as the center, and a movement arresting part 15a makes contact with the side wall of a second protruding part 12b. When a large upward deceleration acts on the buckle device 10 in this state, large downward inertial forces F2, F3 act on the center of gravity of the operation member 12 and the center of gravity G of the inertial body 15, so that the operation member 12 and the inertial body 15 are moved down. When the upper end of a first hole 15c makes contact with a first support shaft 16, the further downward movement of the inertial body 15 is arrested, and when a stepped part 12c makes contact with the upper end surface of the movement arresting part 15a, the further downward movement of the operation member 12 is arrested, so that the operation member 12 is never moved to the releasing position. |
