A stay for use with a closure such as a window having a sash located within a frame. The stay is of the type having an arm 10 coupled to a mounting 14 via a fastener 17. The fastener 17 is slidingly located in a slot 11 in the arm. The mounting 14 and arm 10 are adapted for coupling between the closure and the frame.
