Adaptor for connecting fan to breathing protection mask - incorporates short air inlet duct to reduce air flow resistance

An adaptor (1) is used to connect a fan (21) to the inlet (27) of a breathing protection mask (26) in order to produce a positive pressure in the filter (2) and in the mask (26) to which the filter is attached. The adaptor forms a connection between the fan (21) and the inlet (27) which leads to the adaptor inlet duct. The adaptor (1) has a separate sealing device formed by the sealing element (30) which is fitted around the inlet (27) or the air inlet duct (13) and the fan housing is so formed that it fits around the other end of the air inlet duct (13). USE/ADVANTAGE - Producing positive pressure in breathing mask filter. Short air inlet duct reduces resistance to inflow of air.
