The X-ray appts. uses a television signal path for transmission and visualisation of the successive X-ray images. A difference image is obtained in the television signal path, from two successive x-ray images of the examined organ (7), corresp to different movement phases of the latter and is combined with the actual x-ray image, so that the movement appears amplified. The difference image and the actual x-ray image may each be amplified before being combined via respective electrical circuits. The amplification factor for the difference image can be controlled in dependence on a brightness signal obtained from the preceding x-ray image.
