METHOD FOR PROLIFERATING POLYBLAST BODY OF SCALLION

摘要

PURPOSE:To proliferate a virus-free polyblast body by applying a technique of a shoot apical tissue culture (growing point culture), bedding the growing point cut off from a stock plant of a scallion in a proliferating solid culture medium and culturing the growing point. CONSTITUTION:A proliferating solid culture medium is prepared by adding 0.1mg/l naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) and 0.1mg/l benzylaminopurine (BAP) to a Murashige-Skoog (MS) culture medium (containing 2% sucrose and 0.8% agar at pH5.7) and a growing point cut off from a scallion stock plant is bedded in the resultant culture medium and cultured.
