<p>PURPOSE:To convert all of nitrite nitrogen generated at the time of nitrification to nitrate nitrogen by controlling nitrification reaction in activated sludge treatment using a bioreactor. CONSTITUTION:A dissolved oxygen concn. meter (DO meter) 7 and an activated sludge floating matter concn. meter (MLSS meter) 8 are provided to a bioreactor 1. From the measured results of both meters, the operation of an excessive sludge pump 6, a sludge return pump 5 and a blower 3 being factors affecting nitrification reaction are controlled by a controller 9 and a sludge stagnation time (SRT) is held to a set value and the concn. of dissolved oxygen is held to a set value or more and nitrite nitrogen in treated water is changed to nitrate nitrogen.</p> |
