PURPOSE:To surely align the alignment marks of a flat transparent substrate and the ink patterns of a blanket having a cylindrical shape. CONSTITUTION:This color filter is constituted by having a surface plate 26 for supporting the transparent substrate 30, the blanket 34 movable relative to the surface plat 26 in order to print color filters on the transparent substrate 30 and a window 44 provided on the surface plate 26 in order to observe the transparent substrate 30. The alignment marks are provided on the transparent substrate 30 of such apparatus for production of the color filters and the alignment marks are provided on the ink patterns to be transferred to the blanket 34. The alignment marks of the transparent substrate 30 and the alignment marks of the ink patterns of the blanket 34 are aligned by observing the marks from the window 44 provided on the surface plate 26. |
