Use of hyperimmune milk for treating pulmonary disorders associated with smoking in mammals which comprises: administering to the mammal milk collected from a bovid being maintained in a hyperimmune state, in an amount and for a time sufficient to produce anti arteriosclerotic or sparing effects on lung tissue.
