<p>PURPOSE:To recover the reading failure caused by the damage of a magnetic card, regarding a magnetic card reader/writer. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic card reader/writer has a magnetic head 3 reading the (n-1)th transaction data Dn-1 and writing the nth transaction data Dn for a magnetic stripe 2 provided on a magnetic card 1, carrying the inserted magnetic card 1. The magnetic head 3 performs the reading/writing for one data preservation track 5 in addition to a prescribed data track 4 on the magnetic stripe 2. In the data preservation track 5, the (n-1)th transaction data Dn-1 is always preserved at the time of performing the nth transaction.</p> |
