<p>PURPOSE:To reduce production cost of a release mechanism of a roller from paper in a paper feeding device. CONSTITUTION:When one side face 9a of a housing 9 of a paper feeding device is closed, a projection 11 provided on the inside of the one side face 9a is inserted between the other end of an elastic body 10 whose one end is fixed to an inner face 9b on the delivery side of a paper 1 and a lever part 5 for rotating a pick unit 8 around a supporting shaft 4, this elastic body 10 is in the contracted state against an elastic force and the pick unit 8 is rotated downward by the dead weight of a roller 7 rotating around a shaft 6 in parallel with the supporting shaft 4. Thus, this roller 7 is brought into contact with the top part of the paper 1. And when this one side face 9a is opened, the projection 11 having been inserted between the lever part 5 and the other end of the elastic body 10 is pulled out, the elastic body 10 is brought into the extended state by an elastic restoring force, and the elastic body 10 presses the lever part 5 to rotate the pick unit 8 upward. Thus, the roller 7 is released from the paper 1.</p> |
