PURPOSE:To provide a superconducting magnetic measuring instrument having extremely excellent magnetic field detection characteristics by using a superconducting magnetic shield device which uses a magnetic shield vessel having a zero magnetic field space of a size suitable for actual use and having a space in which the magnetic shielding factor is uniform and, at the same time, arranging a SQUID fluxmeter so that its magnetic field detecting section can be positioned in the space having the uniform magnetic shielding factor. CONSTITUTION:In the title magnetic measuring instrument a space having a uniform magnetic shielding factor against an external magnetic field is formed by means of a magnetic shield device by forming the internal wall parts 4 and 4' of a shield vessel 1 so that the inside diameter between the parts 4 and 4' is smaller toward an inserting port 6 where a fluxmeter 10 is installed in the upper section of the vessel 1 from the opening end of the vessel 1. The measuring instrument is provided with a multichannel SQUID fluxmeter 10 inserted into the space from the port 6 so that its magnetic field detecting section 13 can be positioned in the space and a cryostat 11 for cooling the fluxmeter 10. |
