<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the display position/size of a character font string matched with the hand-writing input position/size of a character string by computing the character size and character interval of the character font string based upon the character size and coordinates of each hand-written input character. CONSTITUTION:An average character size computing part 110 calculates an average character size from the sizes of respective logical characters, a character string size computing part 111 calculates the size of a character string from the maximum/minimum coordinate values of respective logical characters and a character interval computing part 112 calculates an interval so as to uniformly arrange the average sizes of the numbers of characters to a character string size. A display control part 113 forms character string display image data based upon average character size data transmitted from the computing part 110, the character interval data transmitted from the computing part 112 and a character code and character attribute information transmitted from a logical character data buffer 108 and outputs the formed data to a display device 114 such as a liquid crystal panel.</p> |
