<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the floor space of a device without posing any problems with regard to the release of paper jamming. CONSTITUTION:The pressure of a fixing roller 50 is set higher than that of a roller 64b, so that when the paper jamming occurs over the fixing roller 50 and the roller 64b, and a cover 16 is opened, one edge of a form is removed from the roller 64b, and the other edge is left on the fixing roller 50. Therefore, the form can be removed without touching the unfixed part of an image (toner image), with a hand. When the form is jammed in a state where its leading edge is in the inner part than a curl preventing roller 60, the cover 16 is opened, and further, a cover 56 is opened in this state. Therefore, the opening angle of the cover 16 can be small, and the floor space of the device can be reduced.</p> |
