The housing (14) of the body plate (11) contains the swivel closing cylinder (16) which has a transverse release slit (19). A support bolt (17) connected in one piece with a strap eyelet (18) is set lengthwise in the cylinder. The cylinder can be swivelled by a release knob with its release slit into the area of the support bolt. A rotary spring associated on one side with the closure cylinder acts as a second security device to prevent the quick release unit (10) from releasing accidentally.
