The lid is formed from an upper pyramid which folds out in the axial direction of the tubes whilst the base (30) is formed from a lower pyramid which is inverted in the axial direction into the inside of the tubular box. The triangular faces (M,F,J) of the lid pyramid and those of the base pyramid each adjoin one of the side faces (A, B, C) and are folded down from these round the edges (b,c). The incline of the upper pyramid triangular faces is at the most equal to the incline of the lower faces. The opening in the lid is formed by a pull-out pouring flap (21) which is held in the closed position by a push-in connection or adhesive. USE/ADVANTAGE - Less material waste when preparing the blanks for a triangular box.
