<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of a loft angle in making a head by adjusting a front rim of a top surface part forward or backward in a pressing concerning a method of manufacture in which a face part, the top surface part, a side circumferential surface part and a sole part are formed separately by the pressing of metal plates to integrate. CONSTITUTION:A golf club head 1 is formed by welding rims of a face member comprising a metal shell, a top surface member 3, a side circumferential surface/ sole member to integrate. The individual members are formed by pressing of titanium, a titanium allow, stainless steel and the like. Here, a lower die 12 of a die for the pressing of the top surface member 3 has stoppers 14 and 14A-14C arranged in four directions to retain both sides before and after a flat metal plate 13 formed previously in specified shapes. The stoppers 14-14C are fixed on a slide plate 15 made free to slide along a slot 16. The adjustment of a loft angle is made in the welding of the face member by adjusting the positions of the stoppers 14-14C.</p> |
