PRODUCTION OF GRAIN VESSEL GROOVE EMBOSSED PANEL

PURPOSE:To obtain an embossed panel enhanced in reproducibility by using a negative film having optical transmission density becoming low toward the deeper part of each of the vessel grooves on the surface of a grain board and baking said film to a photosentive negative type resist film to subject the same to developing treatment and etching treatment. CONSTITUTION:A grain board is photographed as a two-gradation image of black and white by a usual method to obtain a negative intermediate film 1 and a positive intermediate film 2. Next, the negative intermediate film 1 is arranged under the positive intermediate film 1 and, further, a separate photosensitive film 3 is arranged under the film 1 and baking is performed to produce a negative film having optical transmission density becoming low toward the deeper part of each of the vessel grooves on the surface of the grain board. Next, this negative film is baked to a photosensitive negative type resist film and the resist film is transferred to the surface of a metal plate material and the non-photosensitive part of the resist film is removed by developing treatment. Thereafter, an etching solution is allowed to act and etching different in depth corresponding to the thickness of the resist film is generated in the plate material to obtain an objective embossed panel.
