<p>PURPOSE:To input the coordinates regardless of the material and the thickness of a subject and with no occurrence of a mechanical error by using a transparent material to a coordinate sensor plate and setting the subject at the lower surface side of the sensor plate. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate input part 3 moves on a coordinate sensor plate 2 which contains a coordinate sensing part 1. A coordinate position calculating part 4 calculates the position coordinates designated by the part 3 based on the electromagnetic signal received from the part 3 and sensed by the part 1 and the position designating signal also received from the part 3. Then, the part 4 stores the calculated coordinates. The plate 2 uses a transparent material and a subject 5 is set at the lower surface side of the plate 2. Thus, no electromagnetic fault occurs between the part 3 and the plate 2 as long as the subject 5 is set under the plate 2. Then, the electromagnetic signal received from the part 3 can be exactly sensed at the part 1 regardless of the material and the thickness of the subject 5. Furthermore, no mechanical error is caused because a position necessary for the part 1 is designated.</p> |
