<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a floor area of an electrostatic precipitator to install it even in a narrow site so that it can be applied to a waste gas treatment plant of large scale. CONSTITUTION:Dust collecting units 1 (1A,1B,1C), each including a distribution board 2 and a plurality of dust collecting boards 5 and discharge electrodes 6 which are disposed respectively above the board 2, are stacked on one another in multistages and a gas feed passages 18 is provided, to feed dust-laden gas G1 taken into one section of the units 1 separately into each of the units (1A,1B,1C).</p> |
