<p>PURPOSE:To prevent photographic unevenness in the periphery of an image by setting an acceptor layer region, in which an acceptor layer is transferred, in an area wider than an image transfer region, in which the image is transferred, and setting the number of longitudinal and lateral dots in the acceptor layer region at a value larger than that in the image transfer region in the number of longitudinal and lateral dots in both regions. CONSTITUTION:When a gradation processing circuit starts the transfer of an acceptor layer at a photographic position set, the numbers of dots N, M corresponding to the lateral length d2 and longitudinal length d4 of an acceptor layer region 22 on photographic printing paper 21 are set first, and the acceptor layer is transferred. The gradation processing circuit sets the numbers of each dot (n), (m) corresponding to the lateral length d1 and longitudinal length d3 of an image transfer region 23. The acceptor layer region 22 is made wider than the image transfer region 23 and the numbers of each dot in the acceptor layer region 22 are set at a value larger than the image transfer region 23, n<N and M>m, at that time. An image is transferred so that the image transfer region 23 is received in the acceptor layer region 22.</p> |
