<p>PURPOSE:To install a socket short pipe to the installing hole of an original pipe in a dry installing method using no adhesive, and to improve the processing efficiency, by installing a rubber ring to the outer periphery of the socket short pipe between the locking part of the socket short pipe and a saddle by exposing the outer surface of the rubber ring more than the thickness of the original pipe. CONSTITUTION:When a branch pipe coupling 10 is installed to the installing hole of an original pipe, a socket short pipe 12 is inserted to the installing hole at a specific inclining angle along the original pipe, at first, and a saddle 13 is connected closely to the outer surface at the peripheral edge of the installing hole of the original pipe, while a rubber ring 14 is inserted to the installing hole. Then, by the rotating operation of an operating ring 15, the locking part of the socket short pipe 12 is lifted up to the original pipe and the saddle 13. As a result, the rubber ring 14 is smashed vertically between the saddle 13 and the locking part 16A, and expanded laterally being pressure- connected to the circumference of the installing hole, and thereby, the water-stop property between the branch pipe coupling 10 and the original pipe can be secured.</p> |
