<p>PURPOSE:To provide a display-integral type tablet device to be driven by using a display control circuit for a liquid crystal display panel having no tablet function. CONSTITUTION:A display control circuit 5 is a display control circuit for a liquid crystal display having no tablet function. A new clock generator 22 forms a new clock signal cp2n having frequency higher than that of a clock cp2 only by several percentages. An FF 25 controls the switching of respective switches(SWs) 28 to 31 synchronously with new shift data sn outputted from a new shift data generator 24. Display data D0 to D3 are written in either one of the 1st RAM 26 and the 2nd RAM 27 synchronously with the clock signal cp2 and display data D0 to D3 are read out from the other RAM synchronously with the new clock signal cp2n and outputted as new display data D0n to D3n. Thus an idle period is set up in a one display frame period and the tip coordinates of a detection pen are detected by using the idle time.</p> |
