<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a ground fault from extending to an interphase fault by using a spacer formed out of insulating material to isolate the three phases of a three-phase electric apparatus from each other where the insulated three phases are housed in a container filled with insulating gas. CONSTITUTION:A three-phase insulated type electric apparatus such as a three- phase insulated type electric power breaker, or a gas-insulated switch gear 1 is housed in a grounded metallic container 2 filled with insulating gas SF6. Brackets 4 installed inside the metallic container 2 hold spacers 3 made of insulating material to isolate the three phases from one another. By this, even if a ground fault occurs in a phase, it can be prevented from extending to an interphase fault, and the interphase insulating size can be made small, thereby making the apparatus compact.</p> |
