The opening (5,6) is designed as a smoke removal insert aligned inwards, and is cast as an integral part at the cast iron body (3,4) of the oven. ADVANTAGE - Circumvents need for separate smoke removal attachment projecting outwards from oven. Separate closing plate which is perhaps thrown away when chimney section is fitted is not required. |
