FREQUENCY CHARACTERISTICS COMPENSATION SYSTEM FOR SOUND SIGNAL

The sound compensation method discriminates obstacles in the room and compensates the frequency operation of the sound signal according to the listening conditions. A test signal is generated after switching audio lines to silence during a test mode. A difference in level between a standard test signal and the test signal which has passed through the room is evaluated. A play back signal is generated whose frequency operation is compensated in accordance with the evaluated level difference by switching over to the sound signal play back mode and releasing the silenced sound lines.
