MAGNETIC RECORDING AND REPRODUCING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To realize a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus of which guide post can be positioned in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction with a simple constitution and of which delicate position adjustment is not required regarding a guide pin which is used to pull out a tape from a tape cassette and regarding a turning and moving arm in which the guide pin is planted and installed. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is composed of the following: a guide post 35 which is used to pull out a tape 22 up to its pulling-out completion position; and an elastic member which is provided with an always upward energizing force. The apparatus is provided with the following: the guide post 35; a turning and moving arm 36 which is planted and installed in its tip part and which turns and moves it; an arm regulation member 37 which is used to regulate the upward energizing force of the turning and moving arm 36; and a positioning member 38 which positions and holds the guide post 35 in this tape pulling-out completion position. The apparatus is provided with a constitution wherein, when the guide post 35 comes into contact with the positioning member 38, the positioning in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction of the guide post 35 is completed.
