PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner equipped with a pressure reducing device for dehumidification which can assuredly improve the dehumidification reliability without changing stream passages drastically when the operation is switched to a dehumidifying operation; and which does not lose the capability at the time of a cooling/heating operation. CONSTITUTION:A first indoor side heat-exchanger 8 is made to be a reheater by the switching of a pressure reducing device for dehumidification 10, and a dehumidifying operation for which a second indoor side heat-exchanger 9 is made to be an evaporator is made possible. The pressure reducing device for dehumidification communicates first and second ports (a), (b) which respectively communicate with the first and second indoor side heat-exchangers 8, 9 with third and fourth ports (c), (d) which communicate by a throttling mechanism 13, and communicates the first and second ports at the time of cooling/ heating operation. Then, a slide valve 14 which puts the third and fourth ports under a shut-off condition and switches the condition in such a manner that the third and fourth ports and the first and second ports (a), (b) by the throttling mechanism 13 communicate at the time of dehumidifying operation is provided. |
