<p>Two mask compositions, the active material of each consisting of fine (micronized) particles of two metallic products, such as metals in a reduced or oxidized form. The degree of electropositivity of the two compositions is sufficiently different so that their juxtaposition generates an electrolytic current, the aqueous part of said compositions being a conductive saline solution. The compositions also contain a wetting agent for making the mask adhere closely and fully to the skin in order to promote current transmission, and a consistency agent for the stable suspension of the micronized metallic powders in the compositions. The simultaneous use of these compositions juxtaposed in a contiguous area on the skin creates electrolytic currents in which the skin plays a role and receives energy. Numerous applications in medicine and the cosmetic industry.</p> |
