PURPOSE:To relieve the direct action of the external force applied at the time of mastication on the alveolar bone so as to prevent the infection by bacteria and to maintain the function similar to the function of the natural teeth over a long period by culturing the periodontal cell liquid obtd. by culturing the human periodontal cells taken from the extracted, tooth, thereby forming the pseudo-periodontium. CONSTITUTION:The extracted tooth obtd. from a patient is cooled by immediately putting the tooth into a physiological salt soln. and the periodontal cells are taken and are left standing to be cultured. These cells are frozen and preserved. The frozen and preserved periodontal cells are thawed at the time of use and are again cultured with a liquid for propagation added with the serum of the same patient. The periodontal cells in a logarithmic propagation period are adjusted to 4X10<6>cell/ml to cause the cells to float in the liquid for propagation. A collagen medium of the amt. equal to the amt. of the liquid is intimately mixed therewith to obtain the periodontal cell liquid.
