<p>PURPOSE:To effectively suppress and control the camber and the meandering of a rolling material without necessitating complicated new device, etc., especially. CONSTITUTION:An outlet side plate wedge is predicted based on a detected value (the off-center amount) of a camber and meandering sensor 12 set up on the inlet side of the rolling mill 10. A roll wedge for sufficiently to eliminating the predicted plate wedge amount is then obtained based on the relation between the roll wedge and the outlet side plate wedge obtained in advance based on this predicted outlet side plate wedge amount and the work roll balancing force is controlled based on the roll wedge, by which the increase of the camber and meandering is suppressed.</p> |
