SHEET WARP CONTROL METHOD IN SHEET ROLLING

PURPOSE:To provide a means for controlling sheet warp with high accuracy on a line by controlling the surface roughness of rolling rolls. CONSTITUTION:Abrasive grain injection nozzles 4 for grinding blowing abrasive grains against work rolls 2-1 of a rolling mill together with a pressure medium are provided corresponding to the respective upper and lower work rolls 2-1 movably in a work roll barrel length direction. The abrasive grain injection nozzles 4 for grinding are controlled according to the sheet warp detected at the inlet side or the outlet side of the rolling mill 2 and the surface roughness of the work rolls 2-1 is controlled. Consequently, the sheet warp can be controlled stably and the fine adjustments of the roll grinding width and the surface roughness are facilitated. The quality and the productivity of a steel sheet can be improved.
