PURPOSE: To provide a mixing apparatus having simple structure, producible at a low cost and enabling sure operation by keeping the basis weight cross-section profile and the fiber orientation cross-section profile of a paper web constantly within narrow spatial ranges independent with each other and keeping the constant flow of the mixed liquid independent of the partial liquid flow. CONSTITUTION: The objective mixing apparatus is provided with an inlet line A for the 1st partial volume flow (a), an inlet line B for the 2nd partial volume flow (b), an outlet line C for the mixture volume flow (c) having flow resistance W, a mixing angleαbetween the inlet line A and the inlet line B, a main flow angleβbetween the inlet line A and the outlet line C and a controlling element S installed in the inlet line B to control the partial volume flow (b). The mixing angleαis selected to keep the constant mixture volume flow (c) independent of the partial volume flow (b).
