<p>PURPOSE:To improve maintainability to paper jam disposal by pushing sheets out of an opening part, provided at a sheet carrier path, by a push-out member in the case of a paper jam being generated near a sheet carrier system, thereby allowing the sheets to be removed more simply and rapidly. CONSTITUTION:In an electrophotographic device provided with a sheet carrier system formed of a sheet carrier path 17 for conveying sheets, the sheet carrier path 17 is provided with a rectangular opening part 33 slightly longer than the maximum sheet carrier width and communicated with the outside of the device, and a push-out member 34 insertable into the opening part 33 is provided above the opening part 33.</p> |
