PROCESSOR OF SIGNAL OUTPUT FROM PHOTOSENSOR HAVING FARADAY EFFECT

PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of a processor for processing the output signal from a photosensor having Farady effect being employed in current measurement. CONSTITUTION: The processor for processing a signal transmitted from a photosensor having Farady effect and corresponding to the output light wave component of the sensor on two orthogonal reference axes comprises means 9 for calculating the Farady angle between the polarizing direction of input and output light waves of the sensor from the signal, a gain regulating amplifier 8 being provided with one signal, and means 14 for controlling the gain of the amplifier to correct an arbitrary amplitude difference of a signal at the input of a calculating means arranged in the upstream of the calculating means 9.
