PURPOSE:To enlarge a visual field angle by shedding light by a light shielding layer, when the light from unit lens array surface of a first substance layer side is emitted from a first substance layer side again by a refractive index difference of a first and a second substance layers. CONSTITUTION:On a transparent plastic substrate 1, a stripe-like light shielding layer 2 is provided, and a unit lens 3 whose cross section is a semicircle is arrayed thereon by transparent plastic. In this case, the unit lens array surface is the surface 4 of the plastic substrate 1 on which the light shielding layer 2 is formed, and the rugged surface is the surface 5 of a semicircular lens group. Also, a first substance layer is a plastic layer 6 for forming a semicircular lens, and a second substance layer becomes an air layer on the semicircular lens. This light shielding layer 2 light-shields efficiently a reflection of an external light, and on the other hand, does not light-shield the light which is made incident from the air layer side which becomes a liquid crystal display side and transmits through in the vicinity in the normal direction of the unit lens array surface which becomes the observation surface side. |
