<p>PURPOSE:To accomplish a dry toner with which the printing on a transcribing material such as a copying sheet can clearly be read satisfactorily and which permits re-use of the transcribing material through discoloring of the printing when reservation of the contents is no more needed. CONSTITUTION:As inevitable components, a dry toner contains; a) electron donative, coloration type organic compound either colorless or pale such as fluoranes, b) denatured epoxy resin or phenol resin prepared by adding compound having phenol series hydroxyl radicals to epoxy radical such as carboxy phenol denatured epoxy resin, and c) a compound such as amine having substantially irreversible discoloring effect for the coloration due to a combination of the compound (a) and resin (b). Fixed image is discolored when a thermal energy is applied to a transcribing material which retains the fixed image formed by using this type of toner, to permit the transcribing material to be re-used.</p> |
