<p>PURPOSE:To provide an image forming toner with moisture resistance to provide good low-temperature fixing properties and high-temperature resistant offset properties by using a specific polymerized resin formed from a specific polymer having a specific glass transition temperature and a specific softening temperature. CONSTITUTION:A crosslinked resin comprises at least one kind (a) of aromatic dicarboxylic acid or its lower alkylester component, at least one kind (b) of polyvalent carboxylic acid having a valence of three or more and/or a polyhydric alcohol component or its lower ester component, at least one kind (c) of aromatic diol component expressed by the formula, and a polystyrene polymer (d) containing an ester bond forming group of weight average molecular weight Mw 5000 or less. The component (a) is 60-mol% or more of all of the carboxylic acid components in the polyester and the component (d) is a block copolymer of 50wt.% or less of all the condensed polyester, the glass transission temperature Tg and the softening temperature of the polymerized resin being 40 to 75 deg.C and 85 to 170 deg.C, respectively. In the formula, R is a Cn alkylene group (n is 3 or less) and addition of X to Y makes two or more and seven or less.</p> |
