<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the increment of traffic volume at the time of restart by checking the restoration of a specific control unit by a representative control unit when the specific control unit is restarted after its system down. CONSTITUTION:At the time of receiving a frame from another control unit, a controller in any one of control units 3 to 8 judges whether a bit allocated to a receiving side control unit in the ACK area of the received frame is '1' or not. When the bit of the 6th control unit 8 e.g. is '1', the system down state of the unit 8 is judged and a frame indicating the system clown of the unit 8 is transmitted to other control units. When the system 8 is restarted, a restoration frame is received by the unit 3 e.g. which is one of other units 3 to 8 excluding the unit 8 and the unit 3 representatively checks the restart of the unit 8 and transmits a restoration check frame.</p> |
