<p>PURPOSE: To provide a highly efficient current source which can supply a pulse current with adjusted high electric power to a solid-state diode pumping laser. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a power supply 22, a light emitting diode 31, a pseudoresonant converter which is connected between the power supply 22 and light emitting diode 31 to supply a pulse current to the light emitting diode 31, a sensor 32 for sensing a current flowing in the light emitting diode 31, and a control means 26 which is connected with the sensor 32 and adjusts the amplitude of pulse current flowing in the light emitting diode 31. The pseudoresonant converter is constituted as a zero-current switch total-wave pseudo-resonant back converter, and it is provided with a switch transistor 24 having a parallely connected diode 25, a resonant inductor 27, a filter inductor 28, a resonant capacitor 30 connected parallely with a serial circuit comprised of the filter inductor 28 and light emitting diode 31, and a catch diode 29.</p> |
