To manufacture a epimedium sake, an extract of medicinal plants was prepared from Epimedium koreanum, Schinseng radix, Ganoderma lucidum, Lycci fructus etc.. Alcoholic spirit (25 %), husked rice, koji and yeast were added to the extract, and fermented at 15-20 deg.C for 5-9 days. The epimedium sake may be kept for a prolonged storage and has phamacological effects for health.
